Thanks, Alec, for opening my eyes to another part of the beautiful country that we live in. I was excited to have the opportunity to photograph and visit the North Shore, a part of the country I had never frequented. It’s good to be in situations where you can try new things that can take your photography to a new level. It was great to spend time with you and share ideas and aspirations. I enjoyed meeting new friends who share my love for photography. As always, seeing and hearing what others are doing and seeing is very valuable to me. Even though I’m still processing files from the workshop, my mind is full of beautiful images and feelings. My thanks to you for your preparation and scouting and for Robert’s help in assisting us to make this a very memorable experience! I’m looking forward to attending another workshop in the near future.

Hey, what can I say. It was an experience…..a good one!! Thanks for getting Sharon turned on to photography. Getting to play (define it as you wish), getting to have extreme fun, with these amazing digital cameras, with such a wide range of personalities is verification that you are doing it right. Sitting on the “beach?” at Split Rock, after your “stage crew” had produced a magic sun rise. Both of us with numb toes. Still in awe of what we had just seen and participated in. Talking about filters, cameras, light, cold toes, water currents……….no agenda, no pretense, no objective other than enjoyed and sharing the time and the moment. There were a few of those out “on the set” when our paths crossed. Thank You.
